Padjadjaran University Held a Concert to Celebrate The National Awakening Day

In order to celebrate the national awakening, the arts team of Padjadjaran University in collaboration with the musical group known as the Fun-Tastic String Ensemble. Fun-Tastic String Ensemble(FSE), brings the national and traditional songs. The event was held at the Rumawat Bale Rumawat at Padjadjaran University, Bandung, Wednesday (26 / 5).

This event begins at 19:00 WIB and opened with the national song "Indonesian Raya", during the song chanted, the invitees were asked to stand up and singing along. After 18 violinists and one cello player sang the first song, the MC read the poem as the turn of the next song intro.

In the list of shared songs they played 14 songs, mostly traditional songs, including "Ibu Pertiwi”, "Cingcangkeling", "Ole Ole Bandung", and "Rayuan Pulau Kelapa". In addition to traditional tunes, they also bring classic songs like "Mozart's Medley" and also "Canon in D".

The arts team of Padjadjaran University and Fun-Tastic String Ensemble (FSE) make a fantastic colaboration.

Although members of the FSE is the average was still sitting in elementary school, they are capable of playing traditional songs in earnest. Besides the children, helped perform FSE Kidz, a much younger age. They are all guided by Carolina S. Yana. Carolina is a music conductor who is experienced, she was also the founding music school that drives this FSE.

Invitation to attend the concert, wearing national themed clothing, batik, for example. Children from FSE wears scout uniform. The event was closed with a chant songs of Indonesia called the called the "Indonesian Highlights" and then followed by giving a bouquet to the Padjadjaran University and also FSE.
